Burlingame Advance, May 9, 1923 [Game Day-May 6, 1923]
Two twirlers with high-class reputations locked horns at San Mateo, and, running true to form, Camozzi came out the victor, while Steingraph took his bumpings. The Durant Motors are one of the classiest ball clubs across the bay, so it is no cinch to hand them a 9-to-4 trimming. Camozzi had things all his way except in one inning, the seventh, when with two down the visitors started a batting rally that netted them four runs. The entire peninsula outfit with the exception of Camozzi, clicked out one or more hits. Esola was high men with three out of five.
