Tomorrow means that the baseball have their last chance to witness the San Francisco Mid-Winter League in action, when the San Francisco Police Department and the Granat Brother team meet at Recreation Park for the second-place honors of the league, at 2:30.
Ren Kelly and Pete Ritchie will make the trip up from San Jose where they are in training with the Seattle club, with permission of Harry Wolverton, manager of the Indians. These two lads will form the Cops’ battery.
Gene Camozzi and Skipper Roberts will do the heavy work for the Granats, and should make things hum for the Coppers.
Granat Brothers , jewelers, have hung up an added inducement for the twirlers in the form of a diamond stickpin for the victorious pitcher.
As the score of the series in now one win apiece, tomorrow’s contest should be a whirlwind from start to finish.
